Samsung dryer C1: Laundry is present during a vent test
THE SHORT ANSWER
Laundry is present during a vent test.
C1 means the Vent Blockage test detects items in the drum. Empty it before repeating the test.
Look for small items left in the drum, not just the main load.
Do not bypass the door switch, run with disconnected exhaust, or open electrical or gas components. Stop for smoke, scorching, or a gas odor.
WHAT YOU MAY NOTICE
Symptoms to record
- The dryer displays C1.

How to interpret this result
C1 is not the same as CL Child Lock. Record that the display appeared during a test; a reading taken during normal drying may need different model-specific interpretation.
