GE Range / Oven LOC DOOR: Check Lockout and Door Controls
THE SHORT ANSWER
The door/lock control state needs checking.
When LOC DOOR flashes without self-clean selected, GE says to check Control Lockout first. If that does not explain it, the reset procedure depends on the door-switch design.
Check the exact model manual for an active Control Lockout feature.
Never force the oven latch or bypass a safety interlock.
